Glim Studios

Lizbeth Cevallos is a creative director overseeing the feel good brand “Glim Studios”.  Our TRA team had its first opportunity to experience this season’s collection at New York Fashion Week.  For some, to hear a brand described as “feel good” can mean multiple things.  For us, a brand based on high quality, passion, transparency, creativity and local production makes us feel good to support, confident to spread the word and empowered to wear it!  The brand focuses on maintaining relationships within their Spain to Portugal production contacts. Like their collection production size, these locations are run by small companies.

This season's collection titled “do not reach, out of office” may be small in quantity but packs a mighty punch in quality.  Featuring individual pieces like denim, graphic t’s, and their beloved color block The Linda Shirt.  While achieving a completely sustainable closet may seem overwhelming this season's collection allows you to invest in pieces that can be worn multiple ways and ease transitioning into more ethical practices.

The fashion industry has seen an uptick in sustainable fashion houses and Glim Studios has taken the steps to set up processes to join the growing conscious space.  Each purchase comes in a recycled fabric bag with packaging, labels and stationary made in Spain.  Sending a piece of sustainable education home with each client.  The care in creating their collection then passes the confidence on to us as consumers that we are not just purchasing a product but inheriting a great piece.

You can shop Glim Studios at the Flying Solo NYC boutique and online at https://glimstudios.com/
