Welcoming Mia Reid “Back to the Beach”
Girl boss Mia Reid has brought her sexy, sophisticated and southern line The Mia Reid Collection home to Virginia Beach. Appropriately titled, “Back to the Beach” features looks for the upcoming warm season that Mia explains, “Is more than just resort wear”. She is so right!
Shown in three mini shows, those exposed to Mia for the first time had the opportunity to witness a head wrap collection, designs for youth and the new collection for the season.
While it may be your first time experiencing Mia she is far from new to our industry. Don’t let the beautiful charm fool you. Mia has deep roots within the fashion industry having graduated from FIT with a degree in Fashion Merchandise Management then moving into working large corporate retail and even starting her first online store. Her designs have been carried in both major retail chains Belk and Macy’s.
Beyond the experience her heart speaks family which was evident through the many supporters that attended her show to the many tags and posts happening live on social media as we post this article. The culture of community and service also rang through her show. Special care was paid to guests from their front of house check in, to curated food stations, and customized gifts for front row guests.
This season you are going to see prints by way of kimonos, sass by way of skirt sets and dresses. There is something for every girl in this season's collection and we are here for it!
