Zooonek,Sonia Therese Design and Aks Mathu

Freedom is something many strive for. Freedom also looks differently from one person to the next. We found freedom in fashion being spearheaded by Virginia Beach designer and native Geoffrey L. Owens.  He is talented, practically our neighbor and his peers feel the same.

As a designer, barber/cosmetologist, and artist Owen oversees his Zooonek clothing line that many describe to be on the “wild side”. In every great way possible we witnessed that side as he presented his clothing theme of Indiana Jones clashing with the safari. Using the pandemic he merged the two ideals to create garments letting the world know, “Just because something bad is going on things can work out”.  Mixing color pallets of sand, dune, browns with green and yellow.  Spoiler alert, yes it worked!

With multiple appearances within the FlyingSolo NYC show platform and the second coming as an invitation to show the Zooonek brand has fans cheering them on and following along for what we hope will be a promising wild ride.
