Nicole Miller AW2020

American designer Nicole Miller came out with fully loaded guns this season(figuratively speaking, of course) presenting “Rock ‘n’ Royalty”.  The new collection draws inspiration from The Renegades of Kings Road, the rebellious royalty we love to follow and even pays homage to British Rock of the 70’s.  What can be more rock star than Nicole’s first piece that hit the runway by Dominican supermodel Ysaunny, a teal medallion scarf dress with a crown embellished leather jacket.

Nicole designed a range of pieces focused on breaking down gender barriers and in celebration for the androgynous spirit.  The look chosen for model Evgenii mirrored this impeccably. Evgenii giving face, serving attitude and oozing rocker vibes in a leopard mock neck tank, yellow paisley flare pants and a wine faux fur cocoon coat. You can tell how amazing a clothing line is by the genuine look of how the model wears it. How could you not feel like a rock star in mutton style sleeves, midi dresses, paisley prints and velvet. Then down the runway comes what we at TRA consider to be the new LBD(little black dress) an all black leather jumpsuit!   As the audience, witnessing this show in person just imagine this same essence happening a total of 40 times.  

We look forward to witnessing a surge of sales for the Nicole Miller brand this fall season as her line provides not only the quality you are used to from her but multiple pieces that can be a staple for any closet.  In uncertain times in our country sensible fashion that makes a statement is still very much so needed and welcomed.
