Pamella Roland

The saying, “You can’t please everyone” is normally true but we at TRA found the exception in American Designer Pamella Roland.  Roland has always given us elegant, glamorous and “statement making” pieces.  The front row of a Pamella Roland show is always filled with the celebrities that love to make a statement.  From the Housewives of New York to Nicky Hilton Rothschild, Pamela’s fans cover the age spectrum of young to mature.

This seasons show opener of an ostrich feathered mini dress led into a beautiful showcase of canary colored peices. One being a flowing gown with dramatic train, the second a gorgeous swing coat dress followed by a two piece canary business suit.  A statement suit that any woman could be proud to have in her closet with just enough edge as it featured beading down both sides of its jacket and pant. Following up with that statement continued a metallic jumpsuit and an off shoulder midi followed by a to die for floor length ombré metallic gown that we can assure you the pictures don’t do it complete justice. While this seasons collection didn’t stray too far from Pamella’s signature style we can appreciate the classic designs she develops.

The burning question for designers through each season centers around their inspirations or what theme they want their collection to convey.  We are convinced Pamella chooses to simply wow us every time we experience her shows.
