HOMOLOG

We will take our fashion plant based. How about you? The Homolog brand does just that as their eco-friendly fabrics are mainly dyed by plants along with their use of pure silk and mulberry silk.  Taking care to produce the best garments to be progressive but also paying homage to fashion houses that have come before her.  Models opened the show wearing vintage pieces from various fashion houses with signs to celebrate them.

The Homolog fashion house was born on Valentine’s day in 2019 by Emily Zhang and her team within her Paris office.  Emily not only carries the title of designer for the house but also designs furniture and is a perfumer.  Homolog from Ancient Greek is the agreeing, of one mind.

Being that both culture and energy are both important to Emily’s family there is no surprise to see the intricacy of work put in to create the finished collection we experience on the runway.  The care from ethically dying fabrics to hand embroidery and stitching where we would normally see machine work done instead.

Can we be ethical and beautiful too? Homolog proves yes, we can.  The color palette is expansive, the options are vast, and the tailoring impeccable.
