Son Jung Wan NYFW S/S 2020
One of the nice things about going to New York Fashion Week, is getting to see how much fashion has progressed in the past several years. It’s also interesting to get a glimpse of what is to come in the world of fashion in the near future. Most rewarding, is being able to see designers who are able to continue to grow as styles and trends morph. Over the years, Son Jung Wan has been able to show that she can create new and exciting designs for every single fashion week season. She is also one of the growing number of designers that present coed clothing lines during their show, making her appeal broader then most.
Using bright yellows, pinks, greens and blues, she was able to create clothing that was both bold and fun at the same time. Including virtually every fashion occasion in her lineup, she displayed outfits for the evening ball and summer soirée, all the way to a polo match and Academy Award Ceremony. The most difficult thing about doing this, is being able to pull it off consistently, season after season, without designs starting to blend together. That requires a vision that only very few possess in Son Jung Wan is one of the few.
