Aguaclara 2018 Collection
The Aguaclara 2018 collection Fashion Show took place during Fashion Week Miami Beach Swim, at the Collins Park Tent on Saturday, July 22, 2017.
Energetic smiles and suspenseful excitement filled the room as attendants took their seats, awaiting for the show to start. From the moment that the lights turned on, giving the first model the cue to walk out, all eyes were set on the runway until the very end. The audience was captivated by the beautiful details and movement of the designs.
Each piece of the collection was connected. Although some of the same prints were used in more than one design, each design portrayed a story on its own. Designer, Liliana Villalobo stuck to her roots, inspired by the beauty of nature, which was presented with quality materials such as Italian silk and gauze. This year, however, included a wider variety of colors than the previous years. Together, the designs themselves drew a picture of the bright yellow sun, palm trees, green vegetation, colorful flowers, shades of the ocean, day-time and night-time sky, and its flowy pieces the presence of the breeze. The right amount of texture, and exotic leaf, flower, tribal, and animal patterns were strategically placed to enhance any woman's figure. Each design hugs a woman's body differently, providing options to a wide range of body types.
Models wore their hair down. Their makeup was in harmony with the natural beauty theme, soft and radiant. Bracelets have always been consistent at Aguaclara shows, but this year, big, colorful, hand crafted earrings and feathers perfectly complimented each look as well.
The Aguaclara 2018 collection is dedicated for the independent, free spirited, and confident type of woman. The type of woman who is sensual, yet sophisticated, and not afraid to be free.
