Dan Liu 2017 NYFW Runway Show
New York City has its own mistique , has its own style , it even has its own style of pizza. But whats more important is that it has its own style of fashion. From Central Park in Manhattan to the Brooklyn Bridge on the other side of town, fashion has been depicted through all burroughs and every season of the year. But if you cant make it to The Big Apple at its peak Autumn season all you have to do is follow outstanding designer Dan Liu. His Autumn/Winter 2017 collection displayed at New York Fashion Week encompassed the very season.
Starting off the show with a supremely choreographed two-step, Dan Liu used a masked dancer donning a red mask with leaves attached to his body to introduce the beginning of a new very vibrant collection.
This collection was filled with a beautiful assortment of autumn colors that sparked the entire room. From bright red pea-coat style tops to double breasted thigh length dresses, the collection stunned. Using various colors and styles of scarves accentuated the multiple themed dresses which included one nautically themed garment that came to be my favorite.
Brightly colored scarves, uniquely colored headpieces and finely detailed ready to wear garments stood out perfectly , but never to out do himself , Dan performed the closing number, singing along side the finale walk as his creations took center stage.
In conclusion, my personal opinion of this collection was a complete success and my intentions are to never miss a Dan Liu show ever......
