Marcel Ostertag SS 2018
Berlin Fashion designer Marcel Ostertag showed his creative twist on traditional influences and modernity through this seasons collection at New York Fashion week. The former Central ST. Martin College student focused on fashion and adopted ideals for his label such as high-quality materials and sustainable production which he bases the foundation of his collections on to this day.
The extensive collection featured light weight fabrics, bronzed separates and even tailored pants with very interesting waistlines. You can see a specific pattern cohesion choice through many of the looks along with touches of orange mostly used in belts, collars and the trims of jackets. The same pattern was brilliantly used on nude separates to add a nonintrusive pop of color. Simple, chic and that extra something right when you need it!
