Mariandree Gaitan F/W 2016/17
One has to admit, that when someone speaks of a fashion show, they are usually thinking of cutting edge apparel. The styles of the upcoming seasons and clothing concepts for years to come. One type, the most traditional of all clothing, is not at the top of everyone's fashion list; wedding wear. But thank goodness for Mariandree's Gaitan. Her line of wedding gowns and bridesmaid's dresses, reminded us that weddings have seasons also and the upcoming newlyweds want to have next years fashion, since their big day is usually... next year. Whether it be big or small, long or short, traditional or non, Mariandree covered all of the bases. Her use of chiffon to maintain the feel of a wedding dress, for the bride that wants to show a little more of herself, was masterful. On the opposite end of the spectrum, she displayed gowns that were fully decked out, with petticoats and cathedral length veils, for a more stately pallet. Not to leave any other bridal party member out, her line included varying types of mother of the bride and bridesmaid's attire, with the same broad styles that she brought with her wedding gowns. Nice from top to bottom, this is the complete bridal party clothing line.
