Soufflesong F/W 2016/17
Part Steam Punk, part Lolita, part Gothic, Soufflesong's brand is all style. Their clothing isn't just well-placed ruffles and bowties, the material that they use have very intricate designs and in some cases, scenery and paintings of people on them. They didn't just go out and buy yards of fabric and not to waste any, use a computer to determine the best place to cut the pattern from. Not at all!! This use of material was very well thought out and purposeful. I have not seen this type of planning done in clothing manufacturing, in some time and I hadn't even gotten to the use of golden accents and necklaces and crowns and arm ties. To adequately describe Soufflesong's clothing, would take much longer than I am afforded, so I will cut it down to this: Soufflesong has created a line of clothing that one might make the error of not taking them serious, because of the genre they have tracked into. That would be a sad, sad mistake... Their creations are elegant, thoughtful and worthy of praise regardless of your personal taste in clothing. One doesn't have to like cars, but they can still appreciate the splendor of a Aston Martin. Souflesong is that Aston-Martin.
