Cute Like Mad F/W 2016/17

Jeanette, the head designer at Cute Like Mad, has stated that her clothes are for, "the woman who has a rebellious edge, sometimes perfectly concealed". I can definitely see that in her clothing, because it is certainly edgy, butwithout looking over the top. New, without looking too futuristic. Feminine, while still looking strong and determined. She has turned the "little black dress" into "the little red dress", something that would surely stand out at any cocktail party. Oversize collar sweaters, with knee high skirts, perfect for everyday work wear. Strapless tops with a short skirt and leggings... Black on black on black... The kind of outfit that a woman could sport to the club and to a sexy Darth Vader convention. Jeanette has even brought back the choker, but with her own twist on it. Some are half fabric choker, half silver necklace, while others are of the bow tie type. Being the environmentally conscious type, the fact that they only use all natural materials in the making of their garments, in itself is a feat that most designers usually do not consider when choosing fabrics. How could one not want to support a designer that not just makes great clothing to wear, but in an earth-friendly way. Thumbs up to Cute Like Mad.
