Well, well, well... I've yet to see a 10-year-old buyer for a department store. I've yet to see a 13-year-old blogger at a fashion show. As a matter fact, adults are buying the overwhelming majority of clothing worn, not minors. With that said, me, being the responsible adult that I am, was so happy to see a fashion show for adults. Oh... nothing filthy or explicit, but clearly for the ones shelling out the cash at the register. Liviara's display of their line of female delicates, was both tasteful and intriguing. Done in the style of Marie Antoinette, complete with powdered faces and eccentric wigs, was so very well executed. (No pun intended...) Showing this genre of clothing is always difficult, because the designer must be very careful as to not stray over into the realm of vulgarity. This was done by showing all that needed to be shown, but not showing anymore than what was necessary to get the point across. By the way, if you can't already tell, I am purposely avoiding any description of the articles that were presented that evening. I'm doing this so that you can take in the beauty of her designs with an absolutely cleansed palate for yourself. I honestly can't do it any justice with words, but I will say this... Think of the lavishness and affluence of the last Queen of France. The most opulent of dresses, fabricated by world renowned artisans, obviously, fit for queen. Now imagine what she would have worn under those dresses... Liviara.
