CAHIERS (Concept Korea)

Whimsical and Airy, two thoughts that come to mind while watching this season's Cahiers collection come down the runway for New York Fashion Week.  Concept Korea kicked into action as it returned back to New York for its first time since lockdown with new talent.  One of those being creative director Kim A-Young.

Cahiers is a feminine and soft brand through and through.  From ruffles, soft pastels, and flow as it makes its way down the runway.  While beautiful the collection also feels easy.  Effortless to wear.  All models wore spring and summer-like sandals to comfortably make their way down the runway.  This styling component helped keep the focus on the pieces but gave a real world feel of owning a Cahiers piece.

Concept Korea is a government-sponsored fashion show by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) in South Korea. The aim of the show is to help renowned Korean designers promote themselves outside of Korea.
